When I switched my diet to a Plant-Based one, I struggled a lot on finding new easy recipes to have a nice dinner. These were some of the recipes that I wish I knew when I was changing to a Plant-Based diet. Then, if you are trying to change your diet to a Plant-Based one, you need to balance your food in order to get all the nutrients your body needs. As I always say, if you are not sure about what you should be eating, always go to a registered dietitian for professional advise.
Plant-Based Diets are better not only for your health, but also for the planet (as Livestock is known for emitting most of the Greenhouse gasses that are hurting the Earth these days). Let's see how to properly mix grains, legumes, fruit, vegetables and seeds to get you some super power Plant-Based Dinner Recipes.
I've found that one of the best ways to get all the nutrients your body need is to mix essential ingredients into big Bowls for Food. Into a Bowl you can mix almost anything without spilling it around. Moreover, if they come with a lid you already have a take-away lunch for the following day.
Soups are one of my favorite choices, they are tasty and they allow you to get all the nutrients you need from plants.
Chopp the mushrooms, the leek, the red bell pepper, the garlic and the carrot in small pieces. Mix the stock, mushrooms, wild rice, leek, and garlic in soup pot or big pan. Bring to a boil over high heat; and then reduce ir to medium-low. Cover and simmer for 45 to 50 minutes or until the rice is tender. keep stiring in the bell peppers, carrot, and salt. Cover and simmer for 8 minutes more.
Mix the almond flour and chickpea flour in a small bowl; stir in ¼ cup water. place the mixture into the soup. Cook, stirring constantly so it doesn't stick to the bottom, for 1 to 2 minutes or until thick and bubbly. leave it stiring in up to ½ cup more water to reach the desired consistency. Stir in the thyme and vinegar.
Once this is done, you can pour it in your favorite Bowl of Food. Enjoy!
Slice the Tofu in dices and saute it with Soy sauce, salt and pepper in a frying pan until they are crunchy and reserve. Cook the Quinoa and Chickpeas in boiling water with vegetable stock and reserve. Place the Brussels Sprouts and the broccolini into the oven until they are cooked. Chop the Cherry tomatoes in halves.
Once everything is ready, place the quinoa and the chickpeas into a bowl as the Base. Add the Burssel sprouts and the broccolini once they have cooled off. Then, add the cherry tomatoes. Slice half of an avocado and add it, along with the tofu, to the top of your bowl. Season it with the mixed seeds, Olive Oil and Pesto seasoning. There! you Super Bowl is ready for you to enjoy.
Chop the Red Bell Pepper and the eggplant into slices and place them into a grill adding the haloumi slice too. Spray them with Olive Oil, salt and pepper. Shred the carrot and reserve. Grab two loaves of Mixed grain Bread and spray them with olive oil.
Then spread as much humus as you like on one of the bread loaves as well. On the other loaf, spread your avocado. Once the roasted veggies are cooked put them on top of your bread. Close you sandwich with the second loaf of bread and thats it! You got a super easy Plant-Based Dinner Sandwich.
You can make this sandwich as a take-away option and pack it in your fav Bowl for Food.

You can pick your favorite one too!
When I came across this bowl I instantly knew this was going to be my favorite. I really like bamboo fiber made articles and this is simply great. The size and the design are superb. Plus it is a reusable container that you can actually carry around because it is not heavy at all. Buy on Amazon
This set of containers is perfect for someone who is always changing the portion of their plates. The set have nine different type of containers and its lids. You can even cook in the bowls and put it inside the oven. Be carefull with the lid! It might not be the best for diswasher as it has some silicone to closse tight. Buy on Amazon
Despite the fact that I do not always like choosing disposable cuttlery or plates, this is a bowl a would be looking at if I need to buy somthing like this. It has been made from corn starch and sugar cane fibers: This means it is compostable and ecological. Buy on Amazon
As the name says, this would be a perfect bowl for take away saldas or poke bowls. The size is great and the lid closes tight on top of it. They only come in a transparent color, allowing you to see what is inside. The pack comes with 150 Compostable Bowl for Food. Buy on Amazon
I've really like this type of bowl. It is one of those kitchen things that you can rely on for everything. This particular one has been made from Bamboo fibers and corn starch. It means that almost all of the component of the bowl are natural and eco-friendly. Natural fibers like bamboo are an interesing sustainable option these days.
The bowl is 9.8 Inches large and it holds a capacity of 108oz. You can use the bowl for different things and it can also be stored at cold temperatures, so it is fridge safe. It is not recommended for microwaves though, as many of the bamboo fiber made artefacts. But, good news it is totally dishwasher safe.
Avizen BambooBowl for Food is biodegradable, lightweight. The material is sturdy and an extremely scratch proof texture will allow you to use this large serving bowl as a durable mixing bowl for your eco friendly kitchen.
One extra thing that I really liked about this Bowl for Food is its bamboo wooden lid. It can be used as a cutting board and as a stylish serving tray for your snacks or fruits. As the bowl itself with its practical design, the lid is easy to wash. The bowl comes in a trendy pastel color and the unique package design turns it totally biodegradable. I would recommend this bowl over and over again because it is simply great!
This is a full set of Bowls for food that might save your days as it saved mines. The whole set includes 18 pieces of glass food storage containers. There are nine containers plus nine glass locking lids. The smaller container fit inside the bigger ones, this becomes super handy if you do not have a big cupboard to store your containers.
I've realized that the locking lids are great to carry you lunch to the office or the uni. Because it prevents the bowl from leaking, speacially if you are a fan soup like me. The lids are compatible with the glass container in order that it makes the bowl more airtight. Also, these containers are suitable for oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher. You can even cook in these containers and that is one of the things that I like most about them.
One of the downsides that I've found is that the silicone around the lids might become looser if exposed to heat, so I wouldn't place the lids inside a dishwasher.
Extra? The full set is BPA FREE because the containers are made out of high-borosilicate glass for easy heating and durability. Non-porous glass, Free of Harmful Chemicals. The different sizes allow me to store any food I want and carry it around if I need to.
I am not a huge fan of paper containers, and there are two reasons why I am not. The first one is because any paper container is not reusable, so once you've used it, you need to chop it out. And the second one is because sometimes paper container leaks. But the reason why I'm recommending these ones is because they are pretty amazing.
If you do not have reusable containers, this could be a great choice for Bowls for food. The pack comes with 125 Paper Bowls. You can use them to serve cereal, or soups and they will not desintegrate from the heat or wet. Each bowl is 12 oz.
I like the fact that they are made 100% from Sugarcane Fiber: a Sustainable, Renewable, and Biodegradable Material. This is a great Alternative to Traditional Paper or Plastic, the Disposable Bowl Offers the same Sturdy Function and Easy Cleanup.
Tree and plastic free, there you go!
The bowls are biodegradable, which means that the Bowl offers a disposable design that will degrade Quickly. This Product is sustainable certified and is Intended to be composted once it has been used. You can use it for hot or cold foods. The fact that it doesn't contain plastic or tree material means that it won't melt with hot foods.
Even though these look like ordinary plastic containers, they are not. You can find these type of containers in any sustainable take away shop around. They come in the perfect size to place a salad or make a poke bowl in it. The lids seal tight on the container, making it a safe choice for oily or over moisturized foods.
What I really liked is that they have been made from renewable resources and they are fully compostable. You just need to find a facility where they can compost this type of material. Another thing that I really liked is that you can pick from three different sizes. So, the bowl will fill your needs.
If could choose one container for a shop or a take away restaurant, this wold be one of the options that I would be looking at. When it comes to having them in my house, I would always choose one reusable one. But let's be honest, some of the reusable bowls for food are truly heavy to carry around. So I kind of know what people are dealing with at this point.
I've found this container is a really good option and it allows you to fit a pretty decent amount of food in it.
Now I've showed you my favorite Plant-Based Recipes for Dinner and my favorite Bowls for food to store them. Have you chosen yours?
